From being a 19th century cultural building in the middle of Arvidsjaur, and before that a building for soldiers, couple Anita and Jürgen Latki took over the building and transformed it into a hotel. Very quickly, it became a success.
As a fully booked hotel, there was a big need to expand to cope with the pressure. This resulted in an expansion in order to double the guest capacity. The rooms have been carefully integrated with the old part of the hotel, with much focus on maintaining the true look and feel of the old while getting the hotel in a more modern vintage.
The expansion gave the entire property a lift which now boasts beautiful in its splendor. Today, it is a hotel that offers premium class rooms and is well-liked with an almost perfect rating on booking sites. It stands as host to large German companies such as Alpine and Porsche.
