Margarida is our Portuguese architect. Her passion for traveling gave her the possibility to experience different kinds of ways of living and to work for different cultures along the way. Among other categories she has been working mainly with housing projects and since college she has been very interested in building with wood and natural materials because she believes in building in a more sustainable way and living in healthy environments.
Together, the three friends Anna Bärring, Victor Lindén and Matilda Lundmark runs BRÄCK STUDIO, a Stockholm-based architectural firm with a focus on projects in a smaller scale. With great commitment and a high creative level, projects are implemented into new construction, remodeling and interior design for both private customers and companies. “We are passionate about creating honest architecture that has an authenticity and simplicity in materials, with smart solutions and a high degree of flexibility and durability. We all share a love of nature - skiing, climbing, discovery - and carry that respect for nature in our creative process. We believe in the simple, the pure and the beautiful; architecture that bridges the old and the new that remains true to our nature. We are always looking for materials and solutions that has a low impact to our nature."
